Welcome to Personalizing Your Jewelry Part 2 as we continue with our sharing on what to do with the gemstones you have been keeping for a while. In the Part 1, we talked about JY's Pearls set with diamonds in 9KWG. She has been keeping the pearls for 10 years. It was a wedding gift from her mom. The second pair belongs to Ms Pek Har. It’s a pair of baby blue topaz duo-functional earrings set in 9KWG. This is our many first in our Clever Jewelry Collection.
Like JY, she has been keeping it for the longest time too (but not as long). Like JY, she didn’t know what to do with it and she didn’t know any personalize jewelry designers then. Now they both know Wendy Lor of WendyLorArtisans.
Pek Har wanted a stud earring, something she can wear everyday. Wendy decided to give her a surprise because by the time her earring is ready, it will be Pek Har’s birthday. Wendy created a duo-function earring for Pek Har whereby on an everyday basis, she can wear it as a simple blue topaz stud earring.
When she wants something more elegant for that special occasion, all she needs to do is put on the dangling part of the earring and voila! It would appear like she has just gotten herself a new set of earrings!

She now waits to get her 2nd pair of just the dangling part (of another design), and again, it will look like she has gotten yet another pair of brand new earrings.
